Make an impact

Why Monthly Giving helps the Sourlands

Monthly donations provide the Conservancy with a reliable, year-round source of support. This steady income stream helps us plan ahead, forecast resources, and respond quickly to emerging conservation needs. Instead of relying on one-time gifts, your recurring contribution ensures continuous protection for the Sourlands throughout every season.

Every Gift Makes a Difference

A gift of $35 can plant and care for one tree in the Sourland Mountain Region. Each tree is an investment in the health of our environment and community. One mature tree:

  • Produces 100,000 liters of oxygen each year

  • Stores about 50 pounds of carbon dioxide annually

  • Helps prevent natural disasters such as flooding

Your contribution supports wildlife habitat, restores the forest canopy, and strengthens the resilience of the Sourlands for generations to come.

All supporters receive:

  • Subscription to “The Sourland Journal,” our printed newsletter

  • Invitations to special member events

  • Secret plant sales at My Backyard at Nectars

  • Discounts on Sourland Conservancy Merchandise
