Lambertville Nature Trail

In 2024, the Sourland Conservancy, alongside South Jersey SEWA volunteers, launched a hands-on restoration effort along the Lambertville Nature Trail.

… including birch, spicebush, and black cherry. To give these young trees the best chance to thrive, volunteers carefully fenced and covered them with protective netting, shielding them from wildlife and harsh weather.

Beyond Planting

Beyond planting, volunteers also cleared and maintained the trails, enhancing both the ecological health and natural beauty of the area.

Ongoing Restoration

This ongoing restoration effort includes removing invasive trees and shrubs and replacing them with native species to strengthen the local ecosystem.
