In April 2020, under pressure from the Conservancy and our partners, the applicant withdrew their request for a variance to construct a tennis facility at this critical location. In 2024, Somerset County purchased the property. We will continue to monitor developments and advocate for habitat protection and the preservation of the region’s natural resources.
